JPIM Special issue: the eiaSM Twente conference
The November 2010 issue of the Journal of Product In- novation Management (JPIM) is a special issue featuring the best papers selected from the International Product
Development and Management conference, sponsored by
the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management
(EIASM) and held in Twente (Enschede), The Netherlands,
in June 2009. The conference was expertly organized by
our colleague at the Twente Technical University, Petra de
Weerd-Nederhof. We were especially happy with the articles
that made the cut for this issue, both in terms of quality and
quantity (nine articles in all!). The papers represent a wide
range of topics currently under research by our European
colleagues. They include: technology alliance portfolios, stra-
tegic innovation decisions, job satisfaction and performance,
managing innovation across industries, crossing domain-
specific boundaries, technological competence development,
product value, and more. Congratulations to all the authors,
and I encourage all readers to check this issue for some of the
latest research findings in product innovation!
